This year our first meeting of 2015 and the AGM will be at splendid and classic car-friendly Wroxall Abbey, in Warwickshire, CV35 7NB (www.wroxall.com). The abbey dates back to the 12th century and was once the country seat of acclaimed 17th century English architect, Sir Christopher Wren.
Its the usual programme with coffee at 11 a.m. and the meeting starting promptly at 12 noon, aiming for lunch at 1 p.m. Lunch bookings through the Giulietta Register have now closed.
April 18, 2015 - Overnight Stay at Wroxall Abbey Prior to AGM
After the success of the pre-AGM overnight get together and evening meal last year we have decided to do the same again this year. Fifteen rooms have been reserved at Wroxall Abbey priced at £139 for a double and £109 for a single per room including the evening meal and breakfast. The menu looks extensive and most enticing. To reserve your room just telephone the Hotel 01926 484470 and quote "Giulietta Register". You will be required to pay a deposit on booking. Please book before the 13 March before these reserved rooms go back on general sale.
Please put these dates in your diaries now and drive your Giulietta/Giulia to Wroxall Abbey on the day. Tony Ives, will remind Members at the beginning of February, but don't wait until then to order your AGM lunch and book your room for the pre-AGM dinner and sleepover.
